biscuit gallery press Vol.1

biscuit gallery (Tokyo, Shibuya), a contemporary art commercial gallery located on Shoto Culture Street in Shibuya, will publish its first regular magazine “biscuit gallery press” on September 1, 2024, from the publishing label biscuit books.

“biscuit gallery press” is a magazine that captures the Japanese contemporary art scene, particularly the trends of young artists, centered around biscuit gallery’s exhibition planning and represented artists.

It will consist mainly of exhibition archive articles, articles touching on lesser-known aspects of artists, collector visit articles, essays on the enjoyment of appreciating art from artists’ perspectives, and essays by the gallery’s director and curator.
