biscuit gallery will exhibit at the “ART OSAKA 2025” Expanded Section, which opens on June 5, 2025.
This exhibition will be a joint presentation with the new gallery “AWASE gallery,” which shares a space in the newly relocated Shinjuku location. We will exhibit a two-person show titled “Poetics of Structure” by Sawako Nasu and Yuta Shimoda at Creative Center Osaka 2F.

Sawako Nasu (Painter)
Born in Tokyo in 1996.
Completed the Master’s Program in Oil Painting (First Studio), Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2023

Yuta Shimoda (Architectural Structural Engineer)
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1996
Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokyo in 2019
Completed the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, University of Tokyo in 2021
With a background in origami geometry and structural mechanics, he conducts research and creation on new architectural forms, including compactly foldable structures and lightweight membrane tensegrity structures. He actively collaborates with other fields, such as providing patterns to Comme des Garçons noir kei ninomiya.
