I create works based on motifs that are repeatedly duplicated and transformed. I depict the accumulation of differences that are visualized through the repeated process of mold-making of the original, duplication, mold-making of duplicates, and so on.
In a world where the repetition of images, changes in media, and differences in interpretation occur repeatedly, the essence does not reside solely in the original, but also in human perception and the very nature of change itself. These cannot be articulated as language, continuously change form endlessly, and drift through contemporary society like phenomena. By accepting such existence and employing the technical characteristics of realism, which reconsiders phenomena as equivalent in value, I attempt to depict one aspect of the essence of the world.
