“6 drawings vol.3” is an exhibition centered on drawings by six visual artists.
The exhibition runs from November 8 (Saturday) to November 23 (Sunday), 2025.
This exhibition is a joint project with AWASE gallery. We present a drawing exhibition featuring the unique interpretations of six visual artists: Yennie Ebihara, Haruto Kamijo, Charles Munka, Saki Maruyama, Kana Mitsunari, and Yuzuki.
This is a special exhibition where six artists expand the possibilities of drawing through their own unique methods. We look forward to your visit.

海老原イェニ / Yennie Ebihara Born in Japan in 2003, raised in Hong Kong
2021 Enrolled in the Oil Painting Department at Tokyo University of the Arts
2022 Recipient of the Kumekichiro Scholarship
Raised in Hong Kong during childhood, returned to Japan in 2015.
Half Korean and Japanese, raised in an English-speaking environment, she has experienced diverse cultures and languages. Through this experience, she observes the social environment and social issues surrounding her from her own unique perspective and expresses her thoughts through her artwork as a medium to society.
上條陽斗 / Haruto Kamijo Born in Tokyo in 2000
Doctoral candidate in the Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo
He is active in various fields, including receiving the University of Tokyo Engineering Faculty Dean’s Award (Outstanding Research), being selected as a Kuma Foundation 8th and 9th generation fellow, and producing costume materials for the closing ceremony of the 2025 Osaka/Kansai Expo.
シャルル・ムンカ / Charles Munka From Lyon, France
2002 Graduated from École Émile Cohl
Currently based in Niigata and Sado Island, where he creates his works.
Having grown up watching Japanese animation and Asian films in his teens, he conveys the bold touch of a series of European and American traditions related to expressionism and abstractionism, while continuing a dialogue with Asian metropolitan culture.
丸山咲 / Saki Maruyama Born in Tokyo in 2002
2021 Enrolled in the Japanese Painting Department, Faculty of Design, Musashino Art University
2025 Graduated from the Department of Visual Design at the same university
She creates works primarily in oil painting, thinking about the structures and narratives that can exist within painting, such as the relationship between “viewer” and “viewed,” painting within painting, and the link between support and motif.
三成花奈 / Kana Mitsunari Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture
2023 Graduated from the Oil Painting Department, Faculty of Design, Musashino Art University
2023 Enrolled in the Master’s Program, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, Oil Painting Techniques and Materials Research Laboratory
She reconstructs images by combining different times and perspectives from reproductions of phenomena actually witnessed. The reconstructed images are ruminated through the process of layering paint, and emotions and experiences are transformed and materialize as paintings. In this way, she attempts to present the obvious fact that things can only be seen through one’s own experience. She also explores the boundary between still life and figures, seeking ways of expressing them.
弓月 / Yuzuki
2023 Enrolled in the Oil Painting Department at Tokyo University of the Arts
Based on a story of independence in which an honor student girl (Kanako Mineuchi) who fears the caste system and collective psychology prevalent in elementary and middle schools, gradually begins to live true to herself and stops worrying about others’ eyes through falling in love with an eccentric classmate, Yoshizawa, she creates paintings, picture books, and poetry.
Her works focus on those within the gears of society who have pretended not to hear, not to see, and whose very existence has been erased.

유년기는 홍콩에서 자랐으며, 2015년에 귀국했습니다.
한국과 일본의 혼혈이며, 영어 환경에서 자랐기 때문에 다양한 문화와 언어를 경험했습니다. 그 경험을 통해 자신이 관련되어 있는 사회 환경과 사회 문제를 독자적인 시점에서 관찰하고, 자신을 둘러싼 사회에 대해 작품을 매개로 하여 생각을 표현하고 있습니다.
10대 때 일본의 애니메이션과 아시아 영화를 보며 자란 그는 표현주의 및 추상주의와 관련된 일련의 유럽·미국 전통의 자유로운 터치를 전하면서 동시에 아시아의 대도시 문화와의 대화를 계속하고 있습니다.

“보는 쪽”과 “보이는 쪽” 또는 화중화, 지지체와 모티프의 링크를 비롯하여 회화 속에 존재할 수 있는 구조나 이야기에 대해 생각하며 유화를 중심으로 제작하고 있습니다.

실제로 목격한 현상의 재현 영상으로부터 다른 시간과 시점을 조합하여 이미지를 재구축합니다. 재구축된 이미지는 물감의 층을 겹치는 과정에서 반추되며, 감정과 경험은 변용하면서 회화로서 실체화합니다. 이렇게 자신의 경험을 통해서만 사물을 볼 수 있다는, 지극히 당연한 사실의 제시를 시도하고 있습니다. 또한 정물과 인물의 경계를 탐색하고, 그 표현의 방식을 모색하고 있습니다.
초등학교나 중학교 내에 만연해 있는 카스트 제도와 집단 심리를 두려워하여 항상 평범하려고 하는 우등생 소녀(미네우치 카나코)가, 사람들의 시선을 신경 쓰지 않고 사는 별난 요시자와 군이라는 동급생에게 반하면서 점차 사람들의 시선을 신경 쓰지 않고 자신답게 살아가도록 변해가는 자립으로의 이야기를 바탕으로 회화, 그림책, 시를 창작하고 있습니다.
그녀의 작품은 사회의 톱니바퀴 속에서 못 들은 척, 못 본 척, 그리고 존재 자체가 없었던 것으로 취급받아 온 자들에게 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
