I paint girls while denying myself for painting them.
I paint while simultaneously feeling both obsession with girls and a sense of discomfort.
My paintings contain continuous affirmation and negation, aching with contradictions.
My works are an exploration of painting that only I, as someone of the 2D culture generation, can undertake—a refracted resistance and challenge against the history of Japanese art and contemporary art.
