Concept
I create self-portraits based on images that arise from the sense of confinement I feel daily.
Fabric hides the contours of the body through complex wrinkles and protects the spirit from the outside with thick material. By concealing the lines of the face and body, I avoid others’ eyes and refuse to be defined by what others impose upon me.
