Concept
Just as ancient people painted murals using mineral pigments to convey messages and record events of the time, I paint on washi paper using mineral pigments as a tool to document contemporary social issues such as mental health and discrimination against LGBTQ. Additionally, based on the concept and series, I create installations using embroidery, ceramics, video, and sound to allow viewers to immerse themselves more deeply in the world of painting.
