Artist Statement
Points exist everywhere.
Sometimes they approach each other, overlap, connect, or move far away,
drawing all manner of lines like children at play.
Lines born from points sometimes become words, become boundaries, and sometimes spin small stories.
Before long, a place that was nothing becomes someone’s place
and a place that was someone’s place becomes nothing,
In a world that ceaselessly sways day after day, connecting and disconnecting points
I engage in careful dialogue until something emerges.
