Concept

Creates two-dimensional works with “chance/contingency” and “intentionality/non-intentionality” as main themes.By employing random numbers and instruction sheets in the decision-making stages of composition and color selection,the artist eliminates conscious intention from the creation process.Through this approach, the artist brings out purely the irregularities and contingencies that emerge from physical output and hand tremor.Just as unique expressions emerge even in mechanically drawn works following instructions,the artist continues creating to find contingency in mundane daily lifeand affirm irregular phenomena.
