酒井 建治｜Kenji Sakai

油絵、版画/シルクスクリーン、立体作品など、様々なメディアを用いて制作活動を行う。自身の実体験を起点とし、現代社会における集団と自己の関係、都市の無機質な構造を俯瞰する視点から、時間や空間、目に見えない次元といった認知に問いかける作品を制作している。

近年は、発展を遂げた近代社会の美しさに隠された歪みとシステムの崩壊を示唆する作品を展開。人工的に構築されたシステムにより完璧なまでに制御された近未来都市の構造と断片、世界の終末を想起させる作品は、点・線・面といった最小限の要素によって形成され、古代から長きに渡って残されてきた幾何学図形を用いた「世界」の均衡を描き出すとともに、その危うさをも示唆する作品となっています。

Working with various media including oil painting, printmaking/silkscreen, and three-dimensional works. Starting from personal experiences, the artist creates works that question perception regarding time, space, and invisible dimensions, from a perspective that surveys the relationship between the collective and self in contemporary society, and the inorganic structure of cities.

In recent years, the artist has developed works that suggest distortions hidden beneath the beauty of advanced modern society and the collapse of systems. The structures and fragments of near-future cities perfectly controlled by artificially constructed systems, and works evoking the end of the world are formed by minimal elements such as points, lines, and planes. These works depict the equilibrium of the “world” using geometric figures that have endured since ancient times, while also suggesting its fragility.

유화, 판화/실크스크린, 입체 작품 등 다양한 미디어를 활용하여 제작 활동을 펼친다. 자신의 실제 경험을 출발점으로 하여, 현대 사회에서 집단과 개인의 관계, 도시의 무기질한 구조를 조감하는 관점에서 시간과 공간, 보이지 않는 차원이라는 인식에 의문을 제기하는 작품을 제작하고 있다.

근년에는 발전을 이룬 근대 사회의 아름다움에 숨겨진 왜곡과 시스템의 붕괴를 암시하는 작품을 전개하고 있다. 인공적으로 구축된 시스템에 의해 완벽하게 제어된 근미래 도시의 구조와 단편, 세계의 종말을 연상시키는 작품은 점·선·면이라는 최소한의 요소로 형성되며, 고대부터 오랜 세월 전해 내려온 기하학 도형을 활용한 「세계」의 균형을 묘사하면서 동시에 그 위태로움을 암시하는 작품이 되고 있습니다.

使用油画、版画/丝网印刷、立体作品等多种媒介进行创作。以自身的实际经验为出发点，从俯瞰现代社会中集团与自我的关系、城市无机结构的视角出发，创作提出对时间、空间和不可见维度等认知提出质疑的作品。

近年来，展开了揭示发达现代社会美丽背后的扭曲与系统崩溃的作品。由人工构建的系统完美控制的近未来城市的结构与碎片、令人联想到世界末日的作品，由点、线、面等最小要素构成，运用自古以来传承至今的几何图形来描绘用”世界”的平衡，同时也暗示了其脆弱性。
