Concept
Prompted by the experience of being told to “go to a bigger world,” I create works with the theme of the “small world” while traversing Tokyo, Chiba, and Saitama daily. The simple and clear colors and motifs in my works are placed with thoroughness as painting, and by giving titles equal value to the tableau works as very short “poems” with words and sentences, I embed small despair toward the small world in each work, supporting the bigger world. This is my intention.
