【特別企画展】Spiral Garden「gyroid resonance」

biscuit gallery will hold a special planned exhibition “gyroid resonance” co-hosted with AWASE gallery at Spiral Garden (Omotesando) from July 12 (Saturday) to July 20 (Sunday), 2025.

An opening reception will also be held from 5:00 PM on July 12 (Saturday), the opening day. Everyone is welcome to attend. We look forward to your visit.

“gyroid resonance” is an exhibition conceived and produced jointly by biscuit gallery and AWASE gallery, like an “endless spiral.” Just as the mysterious curved surface of a gyroid divides space into two labyrinths, three-dimensional and two-dimensional forms, architecture and art, and two perspectives resonate together in the Spiral’s 1st floor space, creating a new art experience that envelops viewers.

In this exhibition, “Poetics of Structure” by Sawako Nasu and Yuta Shimoda will be displayed in the atrium of Spiral Garden, following ART OSAKA. Additionally, in the gallery zone, we will hold a group exhibition centered on emerging young artists.

A talk event will be held on July 19 (Saturday) during the exhibition period.

Artist Yuta Shimoda, two members of AWASE gallery as curators, and Kenta Someya from Taiyokogyo, who assisted in the membrane production, will be on the panel to discuss the details of the membrane structure on display and the background leading to its creation.
