The contemporary art commercial gallery biscuit gallery (Shinjuku) will hold the public call for entries exhibition “grid next” in 2026, which has received many applications and positive responses so far.
For this third edition, it will be held as “grid next : 2026 – Emerging Artists Showcase” and will be co-hosted with AWASE gallery, as in the previous round.
This exhibition “grid next : 2026” is a project that calls for broad submissions from fine art students and artists, targeting artists who have not previously exhibited at biscuit gallery. The venue will be held at nudge field (Shinjuku), where biscuit gallery and AWASE gallery are located, with a total of approximately 25 exhibiting artists planned across 3 exhibition spaces.

Screening Results: Applicants will be notified by late May ※Screening will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and successful applicants will be contacted as soon as possible.
【Application Requirements】
・Follow biscuit gallery and AWASE gallery on Instagram
・Visual artists without prior exhibition experience at biscuit gallery or AWASE gallery who are aiming to become professionals
・Students or individuals approximately 40 years old or younger
・2D artists, 3D artists, video artists, etc., with works that can be displayed within the exhibition space. Please discuss the number of works with us.
・If residing domestically in Japan, you must be able to personally or have a representative handle the installation and the removal and collection of works after the exhibition period.
・When applying, submit a CV including reference images close to the exhibited work, statement, etc. via the application form
・Exhibited works must be new, previously unpublished works that are available for sale
・The display location of exhibited works during the exhibition will be left to the discretion of the gallery
・Application fees and display fees are free

Additionally, as part of this exhibition, we have arranged for “1 artist” from among the participating artists to hold a solo exhibition.
【Prize】

・Copyrights of submitted works belong to the applicants. However, the organizers are free to use images of submitted works for publicity purposes, etc.

현대 아트의 상업 갤러리 biscuit gallery（신주쿠）에서는 이제까지 많은 응모와 반향을 받고 있는 공모 기획전 「grid next」를 2026년에도 개최합니다.
3회째가 되는 이번에는 「grid next : 2026 – Emerging Artists Showcase」로서 전회와 마찬가지로 AWASE gallery와의 공동 개최로 실시합니다.
본전시 「grid next : 2026」은 이제까지 biscuit gallery에서의 전시 실적이 없는 작가를 대상으로 미대생·미술작가 여러분으로부터 폭넓은 응모를 모집하는 기획입니다. 회장은 biscuit gallery와 AWASE gallery가 입주한 nudge field（신주쿠）에서 행해지며, 3개의 전시실에서 합계 약 25명의 출전을 예정하고 있습니다.

【응모 조건】
・biscuit gallery、AWASE gallery의 Instagram 팔로우
・biscuit gallery、AWASE gallery에서의 전시 실적이 없는 미술작가로 프로를 목표로 하는 분
・학생 또는 만 40세 정도까지의 분
・평면작가, 입체작가, 영상작가 등으로 전시실 내에 전시 가능한 작품. 작품 점수는 상담 가능합니다.
・국내 거주의 경우, 작가 본인 또는 대리인에 의한 설영 및 회기 후의 작품 철수, 인수를 오실 수 있는 분.
・응모 시에는 전시 작품과 가까운 참고 이미지, 스테이트먼트 등을 포함한 CV를 응모 양식으로부터 제출
・출품 작품은 미발표 신작으로 판매 가능한 작품에 한함
・전람회 시의 전시 장소는 갤러리에 일임
・응모비, 전시비용은 무료
