biscuit gallery, a contemporary art commercial gallery located on Shibuya Ward Shoto Culture Street (Shibuya Ward, Shoto), will hold biscuit gallery farewell exhibition in Shibuya「doors」from Saturday, May 10, 2025.
This project marks the final exhibition at the biscuit building in Shibuya Ward, Shoto.

biscuit gallery (Shibuya Ward, Shoto), which opened in March 2021, is holding its final exhibition at the biscuit building.
This exhibition 「doors」will be held by inviting numerous artists, particularly focusing on those who have held exhibitions at biscuit gallery and have left a particularly deep impression.
biscuit gallery will leave its birthplace of Shibuya and relocate to Shinjuku.
Over the course of just over 4 years, the manual glass door on the first floor of biscuit gallery has been opened and closed by artists, viewers, staff, and all people involved with the gallery. The glass door at the gallery’s entrance has also been a device connecting artworks and viewers, artists and collectors, and new expressions and possibilities. We have named the final group exhibition before our relocation 「doors」, embodying the meetings and farewells symbolized by this “door,” and the transition to a new world.
This exhibition marks a turning point for biscuit gallery, while simultaneously serving as a door to new developments in Shinjuku. Please view this final exhibition in Shibuya. And we look forward to meeting you again beyond the new doors.
In addition to new works displayed by participating artists, this program will create an opportunity to display works owned by collectors who have purchased from biscuit gallery in the past.
By displaying owned works at the gallery again, please enjoy a different viewing experience in a display space than when purchased.

2021년 3월에 오픈한 biscuit gallery(시부야구 마츠타오)는 biscuit 빌딩에서의 마지막 전시회를 맞이합니다.
본 전시 「doors」는 지금까지 biscuit gallery에서 전시회를 개최했으며, 특히 인상이 깊은 작가를 중심으로 다수의 작가에게 출품을 요청하여 개최합니다.
biscuit gallery는 창립의 터전인 시부야를 떠나 신주쿠로 이전합니다.
지금까지 4년 조금 넘는 기간 동안 biscuit gallery의 1층 수동 도어는 아티스트, 관객, 스태프 그리고 갤러리에 관여하는 모든 사람들에 의해 열리고 닫혀왔습니다. 갤러리의 입구가 되는 유리 도어는 작품과 관객, 아티스트와 컬렉터, 그리고 새로운 표현과 가능성을 연결하는 장치이기도 했습니다. 우리는 이 「도어」에 상징되는 만남과 헤어짐, 그리고 새로운 세계로의 이행을 담아 이전 전의 마지막 그룹 전을 「doors」라고 명명했습니다.
이 전시회는 biscuit gallery에 있어 하나의 구분점이면서 동시에 신주쿠에서의 새로운 전개로 이어지는 문이기도 합니다. 시부야에서의 마지막 전시를 꼭 관람해 주시기 바랍니다. 그리고 새로운 문 너머에서 다시 만날 수 있기를 기대하고 있습니다.
