Concept
It is as if tears connect mechanisms and pain.Like a necklace or earring that connects different types of ore.
Sunsets and faded antiques leave traces where colors cancel each other out.It resembles a wounded heart in the process of recovery.I use the language of these colors to discover the interests that emerge on the canvas through the act of painting.
At times, the act of painting for me may be a visualization of the process of sublimating past experiences and trauma while building a new relationship with the outside world.
In Judith L. Herman’s work “Recovery from Psychological Trauma”
The prerequisite for recovery is first the need for a place not threatened by others and to establish a one-to-one relationship with a healer.
I hope that my paintings, in places where I am not present, establish a one-to-one relationship with others and could heal someone’s pain—there would be nothing more joyful than that.
