Statement
I remember my dreams well.
The pain given to me continues through the interaction between dreams (the unconscious) and reality.
Someone’s wet blade, the warmth of your hand, the pain of a wound after being pierced by a blade—I recall these daily. Recalled by dreams, I am connected to reality again. I believe that dreams are one of my own realities.
What lies on the opposite side of what is right always carries a dangerous beauty.
Or perhaps it is the reverse side.
Using dreams and unconscious lines as clues, I am attempting a dialogue with the tangible pain and joy that exist in a society becoming numbed.
