CONCEPT
The scenes where a dog stayed close by
For this exhibition, we have invited drawings from children who have experienced hospitalization and from their siblings, while asking young artists to create works on the theme of “landscapes with a dog.”
The children’s heartfelt drawings will be shown alongside the artists’ works, and the artists’ pieces will be offered for sale (all proceeds donated in full to Shine On! Kids). On the opening day, we will also hold a workshop in which the children create a single artwork together.
Through these works, we hope many people will come to feel the presence of the hospital facility dog® — the dog that stays close to children in hospital.

20 years of Shine On! Kids
A panel display tracing the 20-year journey of Shine On! Kids, including its hospital facility dog® program.

New works by emerging artists
Inspired by the exhibition, emerging contemporary artists present new works on motifs such as “landscapes with a dog.” The pieces are exhibited and sold, with all proceeds donated.

Artworks contributed by Shine On! members are on display. Please take in each piece, filled with the children’s feelings.

ArtBar workshop
On the opening day, with ArtBar’s cooperation, children join forces to create one large artwork together.
WORKSHOP
Children’s workshop
One canvas, made together with ArtBar
With the cooperation of ArtBar, which has long led workshops for children, two staff members will guide the session on the day. Together, the children paint a single work on a large canvas.

For 20 years since its incorporation, Shine On! Kids has supported children facing childhood cancer and other serious illnesses, together with their families. With gratitude to everyone who has walked this path with us — and for the road that continues ahead — we share these feelings through art.
