Statement
Painting is a format with material substance that cannot be replicated. This resonates with the form of human life. Furthermore, unlike images viewed on displays or videos with linear and unidirectional time, painting possesses cyclical time, and because of its material substance, one can stand before it and engage in mutual contemplation.
