biscuit gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition by four artists, “exhibition from shu,” running from January 27 (Thursday) to February 6 (Sunday), 2022.
“shu” began as a shared atelier from the beginning of 2021 during the pandemic. “shu” is named after the “holly” (Hiiragi), known as a sturdy and strong tree.
Beneath trees, people gather seeking shade, shelter from rain and wind, and places to rest. With this concept of “a place where people gather,” five artists currently carry out their creative activities.
This exhibition brings together four artists affiliated with the atelier “shu,” which operates in Kyoto and Tokyo as well as various other locations, and is organized across three floors.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1995.
