Concept
Based on the coming-of-age story of Kaneko Mineuchi, an honor student who always tries to play it safe. When she falls for a quirky boy named Yoshizawa-kun, she gradually transforms, choosing to live true to herself—an independence story told through paintings, picture books, and sculptural works.
Her work focuses on those who have been ignored, unseen, or rendered nonexistent by the gears of society.
