Concept
My practice begins with the intersection between the reproducibility inherent in printmaking and the singularity of drawing. I transfer hand-drawn lines onto printing plates and, through silkscreen techniques, develop images through repetition and variation.
By doing so, I attempt to construct a pictorial space in which multiple layers and temporalities intersect within a single surface. At the same time, I actively incorporate elements of chance into the production process, using them as a way to reexamine the act of painting itself.
